Mathew Darema is a premier Tanzanian mountain guide and safari specialist with over 15 years of experience leading expeditions across East and Southern Africa. He is a high-altitude expert who has summited Mount Kilimanjaro over 180 times and Mount Meru more than 120 times. Beyond mountaineering, Mathew guides luxury wildlife safaris through the Serengeti and Masai Mara, leads gorilla treks in Uganda and Rwanda, and hosts excursions to Victoria Falls. Committed to safety and conservation, he utilizes his deep knowledge of African ecosystems to deliver authentic, tailor-made travel adventures.
Alongside Baji, a former teacher now based in Switzerland, they launched Endamarariek Tours & Safaris to create unforgettable experiences and empower their local village.
